Classroom Education

The WAIT Training (Why Am I Tempted?) curriculum uses interactive lessons that provide teens with the skills they need to delay sexual relationships. Delivered by trained adults through our local high schools, community organizations and churches this program:

Addresses the majority of the Health Education and Physical Education Sunshine State Standards
Complies with the Florida statute requiring to "Teach abstinence from sexual activity outside of marriage as the expected standard for all school-age students while teaching the benefits of monogamous heterosexual marriage."
Prepares students for the FCAT by teaching vocabulary, critical thinking skills, reading comprehension and sentence completion.
